Its activism is credited to push NASCAR to prohibit confederate flags at its events. In 2021, Wallace became the first pilot to sign with Michael Jordan’s 23×1 race team, which the basketball legend founded to help promote the success of NASCAR black drivers.Netflix’s official summary affirms that “during six Wallace episodes estimates with whom it is on the track, ending up like a pilot and an activist.
