Pakistan can consider importing food items from India: Minister

Pakistan can consider the importation of vegetables and other foods in India to help people deal with widespread destruction of crops in recent sudden floods, said Pakistani finance minister, Miftah Ishmail on Monday. Ismail made the comments during an interaction with the journalists in Islamabad that was organized to present the opinions of the Shehbaz Sharif government about the movements of the leaders of former Prime Minister Imran Khan for Stymie Pakistan to ensure a rescue package of the Monetary Fund International.

If we have to import vegetables from India, we will do it, ”he said.
