Thane The 33- time-old man from Maharashtra’s Thane quarter, who had tested positive for the Omicron variant of coronavirus, is in a” stable” condition and is responding well to the medical treatment, a elderly health functionary said on Sunday The marine mastermind is presently witnessing treatment at a COVID-19 care centre in Kalyan city, located about 50 km from the state capital Mumbai.
Samples of six other people, who tested positive for the coronavirus after arriving in Kalyan-Dombivli area of Thane quarter from different countries, have been transferred for genome sequencing and the results are awaited, another functionary said.
The marine mastermind, a occupant of Dombivli city, arrived in Delhi from South Africa on November 23 and had given his samples for COVID-19 testing at the Delhi field.
