Julie and Fantom were on my radar after Announcing Netflix would cancel it. My best friend, who had seen the show when it was released, told me about how he was disappointed with my news and curiosity resumed. The enthusiasm for the show was contagious, and after I finished the season, I was hooked. He and I talked about how it was confusing that Netflix would cancel the award-winning performances that had been loved by the audience and critics for the themes of inclusivity, inspiration and friendship that supported, very interesting songs, and only a little splash of magic to maintain expectations of Alive During times in the world when we can all use content that is slightly better in our lives. What would you hope as a response from Netflix if even it’s not a reversal of the decision?
Netflix has not officially made a statement about cancellation. It’s hard to imagine how they can deny that this popular performance deserves another opportunity, but if it’s not on the card for the other season or feature films to complete the story, fans will be happy to see Julie and Phantoms at the concert. In fact, some cinemas that we have done on the Orpheum project have expressed interest in accommodating shows if they regarding the road. Some fans have also openly campaigned to make Netflix sell rights to other services.
