Biden and Johnson met in front of the G7 summit
England was the initial stop of Biden on his first foreign trip, and he met Johnson for the first time on Thursday.
The White House said Biden gave Johnson “an American-made bicycle and bicycle helmet made specifically by Bilenky Cycle Works, a small family business located in Philadelphia.” Biden was born in Pennsylvania.

Johnson said on Thursday that the promise of the leaders of the G-7 at the top meant “we can vaccinate the world at the end of next year and rebuild better than Coronavirus.”

France insisted on the importance of helping Africa, in particular, with a vaccine since last year.
France is the first rich country to contribute through Covax, send 100,000 doses to Mauritania in April, and Macron said that the country would contribute half a million doses in mid-June and 30 million doses at the end of the year.
