Amazon’s The Boys turns the squeaky-clean superhero archetype on its mind. Based on the comic book series of the exact same title by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson, the series is all about a vigilante band known as The Boys whose objective is to tear the country’s best superheroes, who are, for the most part, under the constraint of mega-corporation Vought International and normally corrupt as hell. Who will join the cast for Season 2?
Aya Cash (You are the Worst) is joining the cast, which Variety supported only before the Season 1 premiere. She is set to play with Stormfront: that (in case the name does not immediately clue you ) is a super-powered neo-Nazi made as part of Nazi Germany’s hero app. Stormfront, who’s man in the comic book came to America in 1938 and can be unbelievably strong, possessing the standard gamut of fundamental superpowers (super strength, durability, flight) in addition to the capability to shoot lightning bolts out of the mouth area.
