Astronaut Raja Chari-led Crew-3 mission to lift off for Space Station on Oct 31

Nasa and SpaceX are in the final leg of launching the coming rotational crew to the space station. The Crew-3 will launch on October 31 for the flying village at11.51 am (IST) This is the third crew gyration charge with astronauts on the SpaceX Crew Dragon spacecraft and the fourth flight with astronauts, including the Rally-2 test flight, as part of the agency’s Marketable Crew Program Elon Musk led SpaceX will launch the four astronauts on Falcon 9 rocket from Launch Complex 39A at Nasa’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida. The spacecraft will dock with the station the coming day.

The four- member platoon will stay onboard the microgravity laboratory for a period of six months conducting several trials that will push the boundary for mortal space disquisition. The platoon will work with Crew-2 astronauts and members of Passage 66 presently onboard the ISS, for a veritably short period, taking over the work The Crew-3 flight will carry Nasa astronauts Raja Chari, charge commander; Tom Marshburn, airman; and Kayla Barron, charge specialist; as well as European Space Agency (ESA) astronaut Matthias Maurer, who’ll serve as a charge specialist, to the space station for a six-month wisdom charge.


The four members had entered into counterblockade for the charge on October 16. The counterblockade is a routine procedure part of the final medications for all operations to the space station. Nasa said that spending the final two weeks before takeoff in counterblockade will help insure the crew is healthy, guarding themselves and the astronauts formerly on the space station.

This is the first flight for Indian American astronaut Raja Chari, who was named as the commander for the charge in 2020 and had said that he’s proud to be working and training with Matthias Maurer and Thomas Henry Marshburn in medication for a charge to the International Space Station aboard the SpaceX Crew Dragon Chari was born in Milwaukee but considers Cedar Falls, Iowa, his birthplace. He’s a colonel in the US Air Force and joins the charge with expansive experience as a test airman. In a statement detailing his profile, Nasa said Chari has accumulated further than hours of flight time in his career.
